Privacy-first by default

SimplerBill is designed to create invoices and receipts in your browser without requiring an account. The invoice editor, preview, local draft, customer library, item library, numbering settings, and PDF generation run locally in the browser.

Data you enter

You may enter business names, customer details, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, invoice line items, payment information, logos, notes, and other billing content. This data is controlled by you and is used to build the document you see on screen.

When data leaves your browser

• A share link packages selected invoice data into the URL hash so another browser can restore it.
• A JSON export downloads a backup file to your device.
• A support email sends the information you choose to include in your message.
• Opening external links, such as Buy Me a Coffee, takes you to that third-party service.

What we do not do by default

• We do not require sign-in for the invoice generator.
• We do not operate a user account database for saved invoices.
• We do not sell your invoice content.
• We do not intentionally upload your invoice draft, customer library, item library, or numbering settings to a SimplerBill server.

Technical and hosting data

Like most websites, hosting providers may process standard technical logs such as IP address, requested URL, browser type, referrer, and time of request to keep the site secure and available. If analytics or monitoring tools are added later, this page should be updated before or at the time they are enabled.

Your choices

• Use Clear saved draft or your browser storage settings to remove local SimplerBill data.
• Do not create a share link if you do not want invoice data placed into a transferable URL.
• Delete downloaded JSON backup files from your device when they are no longer needed.
